Wireframe Images

You must submit at least one (1) Wireframe Image that is rendered at a minimum resolution of 1920 x 1080.

Wireframe images must be on a colored (non-textured) background/object with contrasting wires. Neutral tones are highly recommended, but an alternate color may be used so long as the wireframe is clearly visible. Many customers won’t even consider buying a model if there are no wireframe images of its construction! For information about creating wireframes like a pro, please check out our article on Creating Wireframes.

Wireframe examples

For meshes that are subdividable, we encourage you to create two wireframe images that show the differences in the mesh.

  • Base Mesh with no subdivision applied so a customer can see exactly what was originally modeled.
  • Subdivided Mesh that has at least one iteration of subdivision applied to show a customer how your model reacts when subdivided.

All subdividable wireframe images should contain overlaid Subdivision information to indicate whether it’s a Base Mesh (Subdivision Level 0) or it’s a Subdivided Mesh (Subdivision Level 1 or higher) as shown below. You should place your overlay only in the upper half of your image so that the thumbnail row does not obscure the text.
