Creating Content

Download the latest Studio and Inspection Tools

The process to submit to PixelSquid is very similar to submitting your content to CheckMate. To start, proceed to our tools page and download the latest version of the TurboSquid tools.

Use the Studio tools to setup your model

The studio tool make the process of preparing your model for PixelSquid very easy, you do not need to setup lights, the shadow plane or even add HDRIs, the tool will do all of this work for you. The steps for preparing your model can be found in our tools.

Inspect your model

Once you have the model setup using the studio tools, you can inspect your model and see if it is compatible for PixelSquid. The tools will check your model against the PixelSquid specification. The inspection tool will alert you to any changes you need to make to the file, which may include adjusting V-Ray materials or object geometry. Head over to our V-Ray materials specification for more information on producing compatible materials.

Submitting your model

Once your model passes the inspection steps, you can submit the model. To do this, make sure you are logged in to Squid.io, click on My Products > PixelSquid from the navbar, and click the Create New Product button. This will take you to the product publisher for PixelSquid. Follow the steps for submission.

Happy Sales!

We will review the quality of your submission and let you know if any changes are needed. When this passes our quality checks we will render and publish your model automatically to PixelSquid, there is nothing more you need to do, simply enjoy the extra income from your PixelSquid content!
